Land of the Israel so near still so far?

This has always fascinated me for this land of Sphinx was my forefather's' land. People of Kashmir are believed to be the decedents of Prophet Moses. They migrated to the Holy land first but later shifted to India and settled down in the Valley of Kashmir. Kashmiri are believed to be one of two lost tribes of Israel.
