• Re "Questions, Bitterness and Exile for Queens Girl in Terror Case" (front page, June 17), about Tashnuba Hayder, a Muslim immigrant, who after nearly seven weeks in detention, was released on the condition that she leave the United States immediately and who is now in Bangladesh: So now the Bush administration has taken to detaining 16-year-old girls, accusing them of who knows what, deporting them and then refusing to discuss the case.
