A reply to General Musharraf. Lest see how it goes?

Nawaz rules out compromise with Musharraf

LAHORE: General Pervez Musharraf’s wish to unite the Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PML-N) and the ruling PML will never come true, Nawaz Sharif, former prime minister and PML-N patron-in-chief, told party activists over the telephone from Jeddah on Saturday.

“We have not been making sacrifices for six years for this. I will resist every effort to merge the two parties,” he said addressing a party convention.

Nawaz said that the PML-N would not compromise on the restoration of democracy, rule of constitution and independence of parliament. He said that though Musharraf had sent several people to him to negotiate a deal, he had refused.
