A poor, uneducated woman like her has taken a stand that most educated women are scared to take. You cant imagine this but she has two ASF women who live with her inside her room to moniter her. Her phones are bugged etc, but most importantly shes being treated like shes committed a crime!! Very disheartening to see that...But what was great to see was that she has hundreds of letters from well wishers across Pakistan who send her their best, men, women etc...Also i spent half a day with her and in that time i think she had about 40 calls from women across Pakistan who had been victims of village panchayat decisions or who are facing honor killings...And she was very helpful to all the women...Her school is incredible as well...young girls, 4 years to 16 make their way there every morning and some of them now can speak in English, quite extraordinary...Women like her should be sent abroad to represent Pakistan, not monitored by the ASF in a remote village!!
