Mr. Bush's ME tour.

I had great hope after Mr.Bush was elected President of USA, the second time in 2004, that he will wage PEACE instead of WAR in his second term but he did not. He will be remembered as a president responsible for Muslim holocaust of the 21st century and for bringing bad name to the good americans. My white american wife can't move out freely, as I do while in the States, in Pakistan for the hatred Bush has created for the people of america here. I hope the next President will bring love and respect to the people around the world and especially in the Muslim world.

USA 2008 Elections.

Unfortunately what Clinton is saying about Obama is correct and he is going to loose if he is nominated as the Democratic Presidential candidate. USA is not ready, really, for a black at this time. May be after another one hundred years. The whites apologized to the Blacks, stopped calling them niggers, after 200 years. Keep this in mind.

Chelsea Clinton on the move for her mom. Election 2008 America

Your educational reporter, Shapira, is narrow minded person and I find young Chelsea a wonderful up coming lady. I know what I was, as a reporter of a national level English reporter, when I was young like Shapira but now at 70 I am very close to reality. Shapira will also learn it when he reaches that age. Chelsea is doing wonderful job for her mom and we appreciate her efforts for her mom.I am a man from the East and wish her mom success in the 2008 elections. We have great hope for we know she will bring the real change needed to undo bad things done by Bush.

Pakistan at stake

Well, dear, most of the group friends are here enjoying the dawn of democracy in Pakistan and, you are right to say that we should not sit idle till the democracy does not take the full spin of the wheel in a country like Pakistan.
Both Zardari and Nawaz are playing the game very carefully but the greedy general (now retired) who has (mis) ruled the country for more than eight years has not lost HOPE to derail the democracy so that he can be in command again but I hope it will not happen (now) as the present C-in-C of the Pak Army has distanced himself  and the army from the greedy general, Pervez Musharraf, in view of the feelings which the public-in-gerneral have  against the army and I salute him, Gen. Kayani, for playing his major role for the restoration of democracy in Pakistan.
I was, one of the thousands of people of Pakistan, disappointed  at the events happening for disciplined people who decided to migrate to other countries as they could not be part of what was heppening to people like me at the age of 70 but now, I feel, there is some kind of respite to look forward in the future there.
Lets hope and pray for the better.
Yours,  Zulfiqar Ali Butt,  at present in Lahore

Judges to be restored in Pakistan

Pakistan to Reinstate Judges Deposed Under Musharraf

ISLAMABAD, Pakistan, May 2 -- Pakistan's coalition government has agreed to reinstate the country's chief justice and 60 other judges deposed last year under a controversial order by President Pervez Musharraf, a move that could threaten Musharraf's tenuous grip on political power.

Can some body in USA imagine that President Bush can sack the Chief Justice of the country by imposing Martial Law? If not then why President Bush is backing a general, against all democratic norms, to let him do away with the judges, 60 in number, who want the role of law prevail in Pakistan. Pakistan President, it may be recalled, admitted himself for having committed illegal act for sacking the Judges. Why the Republicans are siding with a person who acted undemocratically in the case of judges and by acquiring power in 1999 with a gun in hand.
